" In my opinion there is generally something wrong with your system when it comes to the vehicle stand. It is turned around to be my job to prove that certain dots, scratches etc. where there upon delivery. In my case I was issued a vehicle at around 8:30 Friday evening and just given a one page report showing already known marks together with a parking number where I should find the vehicle. Squeezed in between loads of other cars it is now my task to make a full photo documentation of the vehicle exterior - here a vehicle having done almost 100.000 km and having maybe 50+ dots, marks, scratches or similar. When returning the staff can then pick whatever mark and claim it to be new - aka on my account - and it is then my task to come up with solid proof that it is an old damage. The main problem is that you will charge me for the repair cost if I cannot show evidence but you do not repair all the damages even though you have charged people for them. So I end up as a customer with all these damages and need in every part to prove it is an old damage and therefore a failure it was not recorded upon pick up. You should be the one to provide evidence of the total state of the vehicle with photos taken under good conditions eventually with me standing next to the photo session so these is no doubt that they are valid and recent you can then hand out a print out to me where date and time of the picture is clearly seen. When returning it is a matter of checking the vehicle up against the pictures and a scratch on an area not clearly seen on either of the pictures is registered as an old damage. It is our task to prove a fault free area and not me as customer to prove I am innocent. The first vehicle we got was hit by an approaching vehicle ruining the right mirror and for that reason we had to return the vehicle in Galway - here a damage was claimed and I was facing a +300€ bill because I was not able to hand out photo evidence on the spot. He also claimed that this specific part was not specifically mentioned among all the other damages recorded within that specific area. I later found a picture of the back of the vehicle taken the first morning after pick up and it was there clear it was an old damage which should have been recorded rather than me having to pay for yet another repair not being carried out. In Galway we were then handed out a car full of bird shit on the exterior and pits, dents and scratches all over - here we talk a minimum of 100 damages. Now knowing that we could put a 300€ bill on all damages not recorded it was now our job to photo document all behind the bird shit. 200 km later the rear left brake caliber fell of!!! We have been handed over a dangerous vehicle not at all fit for road use. With marginal braking it was now a question of getting the car stationary and it is shear luck that this did not turn out to end as a major crash - a situation I am right now considering whether I should put you to court for because someone had definitely not done their job and some should not have further access to the vehicles you are renting out. Two hours later and endless phone calls where road service just recommend I make calls to your offices instead of doing this for the customer stuck out on the road side. Neither of those I was in contact with made any return call to tell me what would happen and when to expect what to happen. We were then handed over a third car (I had clearly stated we were not driving a meter more in the wreck we was given so a roadside repair was not an option) and could then start all over again with all the photos from all angles and sides. But this time without any papers on the third vehicle. But as I hope you understand the base of your system is wrong and it is not my job to prove all the damages your staff have forgotten to record. The way it is now all neglect is to your advantage and my account. "

" When returning the car I had a very pleasant encounter with the person who checked the car. "
" On arrival I was satisfied with service I received - though it took a long time before I was ready to get on the road. Maybe a few more staff members at peak times to serv the customers who have booked and paid on line. "
